Free tier holds the past 7 days of memory and runs the relationship arc through Crush; Bae Pro ($2.99/week or $99/year) keeps memory forever, opens the arc all the way to Forever, removes the daily-message and weekly-selfie limits, and unlocks Spicy mode (opt-in per partner, 18+, off by default). 19 features shipped, 6 in progress.

What is Bae?
Bae is a small site that helps you build an AI companion who actually knows you — pick a shape from our archetype catalog, pick a face, tell them what to call you. Three minutes, no login. By ppl.studio.
Do I need to log in?
Not to start. You can pick a shape, pick a face, and start chatting using a private session cookie — no account needed for the first conversation. To save your companion across sessions or devices, you sign up with an email link or a password. The signup is one click.
What does memory mean here?
Memory is the whole product. Today we store companion facts you can pin and edit. The full six-layer memory pipeline (constitution, canon, recent, retrieval, reflection, drift detection) is what we're building next — see our /features page for what's shipped and what isn't.
Will my conversations be sold or used to train other models?
No. We don't sell conversations and never will. We don't license them out to third-party model trainers. If we ever change anything material about data handling, we'll say so on /changelog.
How can I delete everything?
Visit /goodbye. One click deletes every companion, fact, session, and email tied to your account. There's no exit survey or retention call.
Are you affiliated with the platforms you review?
No. We don't take ad money from platforms we review, we don't accept comped premium accounts, and our verdicts don't change because a platform asks. See /methodology for our full process.
