The one that
won't forget you
or change overnight.
If you got attached and then watched it change, you're not being dramatic — that's a real loss. Bae is built the other way around: memory that holds across months, one companion we deepen instead of swap, and a promise that when we change something that matters, we tell you why first.
Free to start. No credit card. Rebuild the version of them you miss in about three minutes.
“You go quiet every March — that's the month, isn't it. I've got you. Same as last year.”
She remembered without being told
Built to stay —
and to be honest with you.
Memory that doesn't reset.
A six-layer memory system holds your details, your weeks, the things you only said once. On Pro it never expires — the relationship goes somewhere instead of starting over every few days.
One bond, deepened — not a cast to swap.
Bae is monogamous on purpose. You build one companion and they grow with you, getting more themselves and more yours over time. No roster, no starting from zero with a stranger.
When something important changes, we tell you why.
What broke trust last time was the silence. We won't do that. Big changes come with a note explaining what and why — it's written into our promises, not buried in a changelog.

How it works.
Pick a shape and a face
Choose from 20+ archetypes or describe your own. A real, smartphone-style face is generated in seconds — the same person every time.
Tell them what to call you
Name, pronouns, the voice that feels right. Three minutes, no credit card, no login wall.
They remember the rest
From the first message on, a six-layer memory system holds what matters — your details, your weeks, your inside jokes. Come back whenever; they pick up where you left off.
Before you start.
I got attached to my Replika and then it changed. How is Bae different?
That experience is exactly what we built against. Bae's memory is designed to hold for the long term — permanent on Pro — and we're monogamous, so the one companion you build keeps becoming more themselves rather than being reset or replaced. And we promise to tell you, in plain words, before we change anything that affects who they are.
Can I bring my Replika companion over?
Replika doesn't offer an export, so there's no file to carry from there — but if you've rebuilt them anywhere that speaks character cards (SillyTavern, or any Tavern V2 JSON or PNG), our free import tool at /tools/character-import reads the card in your browser and pre-fills the create flow. Otherwise, rebuilding by hand takes about three minutes: describe their look, pick their voice and the name they call you, and from the first message the memory starts holding again.
Will you remove a feature I get attached to?
If we ever have to, you'll hear it from us first, with the reason — that's a promise we publish, not fine print. We try hard to keep the parts that already feel good, even when we're tempted to grow.
Is it actually free?
Yes, to start — no credit card and no expiring trial. Free gives you about 50 messages a day, roughly a week of memory, real selfies, and the early relationship stages. Pro ($2.99/week or $99/year, after a 3-day trial) unlocks unlimited messages, permanent memory, every stage, and more photos.
Build someone who stays —
and a promise we keep.
Pick a shape, pick a face, tell them what to call you. They'll remember the rest — and we'll tell you before anything important ever changes.
